Tommy's Bar
About This Spot
From the moment you step into Tommy's Bar, there’s a familiarity that feels like slipping into a well-worn leather chair—comfortable, unpretentious, and quietly alive with local rhythm. Nestled on Sheboygan’s north side, this neighborhood spot carries a calm yet inviting energy, where you can settle in without hurry, whether you’re catching up with old friends or unwinding after a long day.
The bar hums softly under warm lighting that invites conversation and easy laughter. There’s a pace here that’s neither rushed nor stagnant; it feels just right, the kind of place where time stretches a little slower. Patrons come for simple pleasures—good company, steady drinks, and hearty, honest food that’s generously portioned and thoughtfully prepared.
Food at Tommy’s is more than fuel—it’s comfort and tradition with a side of satisfaction. Whether it’s a classic double-patty burger paired with crisp onion rings, or the reassuring heft of meatloaf with marble rye, there’s a grounded sense of home in every plate. Fridays draw a crowd for fish dinners like perch and walleye, promising fresh, flaky seafood that’s perfectly at ease with the evening’s local craft beer offerings.
This is a bar where the usual background buzz enriches rather than overwhelms. You might catch animated chatter around the bar or quiet moments over a cold brew in a booth well away from the main room, and both feel equally welcome. The staff moves through the space with easy familiarity, balancing attentiveness with that low-key warmth that keeps regulars coming back.
Tommy’s Bar isn’t flashy or showy—it’s a genuine slice of Sheboygan life. The kind of place where from the first hello to the last sip, you find something reassuring in the steady pulse of everyday human moments.

My family wanted some burgers for supper and it was my turn to cook lol. I was going to call Schultz's, but they closed at 3 pm on a Saturday . So i thought Tommy's Bar! I've never ordered from there before or even seen the inside. Best decision I made all weekend. The food was great. Service was great, and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect. Awesome! I would have given the food 5 stars, but they messed up my wifes order. I would go back for seconds.

Excellent food!! Perch and shrimp dinner in photo. The place was so busy... so there was a slight wait.. but still great service! Highly recommended!

This place has great priced food and mostly good service. This is the only place left in Sheboygan that I can get a double patty pub burger, French fries, and a bottle of beer for 13 bucks! I love this place. Service score would have been better, but one of the times I was in there I had a server with a nasty disposition.
